1974-Design-build new 4000 amp 12,470 X 240 volt sub station on the roof for distribution equipment to allow for a major expansion of the production facility (previous service was 2200 X 240 volt three-phase vault).
1985-Increase substation size from 4000 amp to 8000 amp 12,470 X 240 volt at the same location. Increase the distribution system to allow for a new production facilities support area. Design system and production controls including programming.
1992-Design-build electrical for a new muffin production area. Design includes all production controls, installation and programming of equipment.
Power factor correction system design and installation. Coordinated efforts with Utah Power and Light Co. to install a power factor monitoring correction system to help eliminate recurring monthly charges.

Snelgroves Ice Cream (Dreyers) Salt Lake City, UT

1994-Design-build new 4000 amp service and distribution system for a major plant expansion. Design and install new freezer building including negative 50 Degrees Quick-freeze area. Upgrade lighting on production floor.
1996-Design-build freezer building expansion and production floor remodel.
2000-Design-build new tank farm and mixing facility including power distribution, production control and instrumentation.
2004-Design-build new offices, sales area and conference / training room. Move phone and computer equipment rooms. Build new quality control testing lab.
2006-Design-build new Machine Room/Plant Control area. Temporarily relocate eight air compressors during construction of new building. Install eight air compressors in new building. Upgrade lights in plant to more energy efficient “Green” lighting. Major redesign and rework of service and distribution throughout plant.
2007-Design-build new production floor area for product expansion. Design-build new packaging and palletizing area.
2009- Installation of energy efficient equipment such as VFD’s, “Green” lighting and HVAC controls.

Removed, reconditioned and reinstalled 9000 hp motor including new bearings, test, dip and bake rotor and stator, test for electrical center and balance and proper alignment
Troubleshot control system on 9000 hp compressor and repaired in emergency situation
Tested instrumentation on critical system monitoring and control for gas separation plant

Rebuilt starter and controls for 7000 hp motor and successfully got it on-line after extended down period

Design-Build on a new 50,000 sq. foot facility in the Salt Lake International Airport Industrial Center
Customer transformed the project from raw ideas and sketches to engineered drawings and physical installation providing maximum efficiency on the production floor and in the corporate offices
Completed project while making energy efficiency and ecological impact a high priority and allowing for increased power and necessary growth in the production facility

Prime Machine

Relocated customer from existing site to new machine shop
Built, reconfigured and reworked 6000 amp service to meet customer needs
Disconnected and reconnected 92 machines including lathes, mills, boring machines, CMC machines, compressors, presses, drill presses, welders, sub-arc machines and cranes
Remodeled and upgraded lighting for offices and shop facilities
Surveyed, disconnect and prepared for shipping a 3-story, 48-ton vertical mill in Denver Colorado
Disconnected and documented all wiring (over 2000 terminations) as mill was disassembled and loaded on 22 semi trucks and shipped to Salt Lake City for reassembly in a custom building
Reconnected all controls and 24 motors and installed necessary 800 Amp feed
Replaced all mechanical controls with computer controls and program to control mill
Exchanged 100 hp main drive motor starter with energy efficient solid state DC drive
